Elizabeth's Story
Hi Everyone!
Ok, I'll try and give you the short story version of my life after SMGH and not the novel version! I went on to Christ The King H.S. and married about 2 years later. I worked for N.Y.Telephone and while there, earned both my BA in Sociology and my Masters in Elementary Education. After retiring from Verizon I taught first grade for 6 years (which was always my lifelong ambition). I was married for 37 years and have 3 children. My older son is an ER doctor at Duke University Medical Center in N.C., my younger son teaches Middle School in Hartforford, Ct. and my daughter is a Social Worker here on Long Isl...Expand for more

I have since retired from teaching and now spend my time volunteering at my parish's Outreach, visiting my 96 year old mother at a senior assisted living home and helping my daughter with babysitting my grandson. Oh,did I mention I have 3 adorable grandsons? I'm starting my own baseball team!
That's about it for me. I would love to hear from everyone and anyone! I have many fond memories of my classmates (and the Daughters of Wisdom!) at SMGH! Remember Sr. John and Sr. Lucille in 8th grade? I can probably name all the nuns I had in all my grades! How about you?
